I spoke with your father last time I was in NY. I have many good memories of your father, mother and you. Tell your mother I'm thinking of her. You take care Sophie and Herman Jr.

You don't know me personally though I'm a long time friend of your Fathers'. I can still remember holding you in my arms when you were born. It was in front of the pool room on Metro. Your Mother was all a glow over the sight of her beautiful little girl. I'm also a life long friend of Cookie's. She was kind enough to send me this beautiful memorial. Please remember your Dad may be physically gone but he was reborn in his original home with God. He'll always be with you in Spirit and you can still talk with him anytime you want, he'll be watching and listening.

We are truly sorry for your loss. Our hearts and our prayers go out to you. From the times we got to spend at the tattoo shop John always came in with a smile and made us all smile. Always laughing and always made us laugh with his stories. The world is minus one great man. If we felt that in the short time we knew him I can only imagine the loss you all feel. I pray that God fills that space with love and smiles of memories you have all shared. May the angels fly him home on swift wings or a really fast bike! With love....
